National supplier for the trade, Total Hardware, has seen sales jump an impressive 50% in just 12 months as a result of its long-running collaboration with leading manufacturer, Walsall-based Trojan.
Focusing on the actual needs of the window and door industry, the two companies have created a unique proposition for UK fabricators and installers that has seen the development of many innovative products, available to customers through a fast and reliable service.
Much emphasis has been placed on the “fit and forget” concept by designing, manufacturing and supplying premium-quality stainless steel hardware that helps fabricators stand out in today’s tight market, and hugely benefits installers and end-consumers down the line. The “fit and forget” range allows installers to protect their margins by eliminating the issue of expensive call outs due to hardware pitting and tarnishing when exposed to the elements.
Working together for the past 12 years, the two hardware companies have developed 
many innovative products, with a recent example being Trojan’s Patriot Plus Hinge, which saw Total Hardware’s flag hinge sales increase 20% in the first six months after it was released. The slim pre-assembled hinge offers enhanced robustness with its patented anti-lift feature and additional pins to reduce twist, and comes in an extensive selection of finishes.
